MDA Ride for Life- POSTPONED

Ride for Life event announcement from MDA

March 18, 2020

In light of the current recommendation set forth by the CDC that all large gatherings be curtailed during the next 8 weeks, we need to adhere to the right social steps and will not be able to host Ride for Life April 30-May 3, however we are looking to postpone Ride for Life and are considering alternative dates.

The last 33 years of Ride for Life has been amazing and this event has set precedence as not only the world’s largest fundraiser for MDA by Harley-Davidson, but as a pioneer in events bringing large groups of motorcycle riders together before the rally format became the norm.  Now more than ever we need to keep that out of the box approach and come up with an exciting, alternative way to celebrate Ride for Life and our partnership with our participants, MDA Families, and Harley-Davidson.

We are committed to the MDA mission and the core principle of Ride for Life, the deep connection we have with our MDA Ambassadors and their families.  Ride for Life and the motorcycle community thrives because of the strong interactions and this challenging time does not need to break that, but allows us to re-configure our relationships.

Over the next 8 weeks we will continue to share our MDA mission with you, and continue to thrive as we build strong interactions, just in new ways.  We are so excited to have you as our partners and look forward to working with you to remain flexible and positive in our focus on Ride for Life and our MDA mission.  Now more than ever humanity needs our positive connections.

In the spirit of the motorcycle community and Ride for Life we invite you to join us online and become part of the ONLINE Ride for Life.  We want to be a positive part of your daily activities, and in light of all the change happening, we want our community to have the connection and positive impact that Ride for Life represents.  So please join us and follow along as we create new ways to connect.

As we work on re-timing our event, Seven Springs Mountain Resort reservation center is open and can provide you with assistance on cancelling reservations or when a new date has been selected, moving you to a comparable lodging.   Seven Springs Reservations can be reached at 800-452-2223 as well as online at

Thank you for your understanding as we all navigate these challenging times.  Our motorcycle community is robust and we are committed to keeping our lines of communication open as we all come together to support our vulnerable MDA families as well as our neighbors, family and friends.
